Bathrooms, shower rooms, labs and office areas are fully ADA compliant. Closed circuit security cameras cover the entire building perimeter, including main lobby and service entrances and the parking lot. Digital security and access control systems are provided as well as 24-hour electronic fire and security monitoring. Exterior lighting on photovoltaic detectors to minimize energy usage while providing automated off-hour security illumination for parking lot and site circulation. Combination safety showers/eyewash stations are located in each laboratory. Extensive array of flammable storage cabinets and ventilated cabinets are provided in each laboratory. All lab benches are situated parallel to circulation routes and in line with lab exits to encourage efficient emergency escape routes. |
